Just Call Me Newt.
Hi there. My name is Newt and here is a little bit about me.
I grew up in a small town on the eastern plains of Colorado, called Limon, until I made Northern Colorado my home in 1994. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts in 1998 from the University of Northern Colorado. Throughout my professional years, I got the opportunity to become a small business owner of a local pub in Greeley in 2011, now named Wyler's Pub & Grill. We are fortunate to have a staff who manage the day-to-day operations, and by having such a dependable team there, I was able to pursue building my Real Estate career.
All through this, I was lucky enough to find "the one", in Christy, and marry her in 2014. She has been an amazing part of my life and, together, we accomplish so much more than we ever would apart. In 2015, I became a licensed real estate agent in Colorado and Wyoming. That same year, Christy and I built our home in Loveland, Colorado (which happened to be my first deal as a new Realtor), so I got to practice on us first. And, in being one of the few Realtors with the distinction of being licensed in both Colorado and Wyoming, I am able to help clients buy and sell real estate on either side of the border.
In October 2018 I was asked by company to become the Employing Broker for Nothern Colorado. This new responsibility over the office and agents allows me to grow the company and my business. Further, it let's you know that you are working with a trusted and responsible Realtor for your home buying and selling needs. In 2022, I became an investor acquiring my first rental property, a 4-plex in the Kansas City market. I have worked with many investors to hel build their portfolio and it is exciting to start building my own!
In 2016, we added Lucy, a golden doodle puppy to our family. And in 2018 we added Lexi a Labradoodle puppy who was in need of a home. The two pups are like long lost sisters and so happy to have each other. I also became a proud member of the Foothills Rotary Club of Fort Collins where I became one of the initial members of our evening satellite group. Being a member of Rotary International has been a natural extension to my affinity for helping others. As more and more amazing things happen to me in my life, it gives me the opportunity to share the blessings I've received.
I've always been a positive minded guy and I work hard for my clients. I love my family and I think of myself as being personally rewarded by helping others. I look forward to helping you succeed with what you are looking to accomplish. Together, we can get you where you want to be in your real estate needs.
